As the nation's capital, Washington, DC is often praised for its historical sites and plentiful museums. Although these attractions are certainly notable, the area is also a shopper's paradise and its offerings should not be overlooked.

Many street vendors are located near historical monuments in an effort to attract the largest numbers of tourists. Lovers of famous brands will be thrilled at the city's vast offerings. Many of the stores are stocked with items that are usually difficult to find or associated with rare brands.
